The Lone Star is an exclusive boutique hotel and restaurant on the West coast of Barbados. Built in the 40’s, the Lone Star was originally a garage. The workshop still forms part of the reception area of the Lone Star restaurant. During the second world war, an air-raid shelter was built out of coral stone, this now houses the wine cellars of the restaurant.

The eight rooms are divided into 4 suites, each named after classic American cars - Studebaker, Buick, Lincoln and Cord and the Beach House which contains 2 rooms downstairs (Tropical and Mermaid) and a 2 bedroom penthouse suite upstairs.

If you don’t stay here, you must make a reservation for dinner at the relaxed restaurant during your visit to Barbados.
