Almond Casuarina is an all-inclusive resort set 10 acres of tropical landscaped gardens on the beautiful white sand Maxwell Beach. Situated on the south west coast of Barbados it lies just 4 miles from Bridgetown, the island's capital.
The resort has a choice of three restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner and guests have the option of dining at the nearby Almond Beach Village via a complimentary shuttle service. In addition there are five bars including the delightful swim up bar serving brand drinks, cocktails and soft drinks as part of the premium all inclusive programme together with nightly live entertainment plus the weekly Manager's cocktail party.
Casuarina has three freshwater swimming pools (beach towels supplied) and a beautiful stretch of beach with sun loungers. Guests can also enjoy complimentary snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, flood-lit tennis courts (lessons available) and fitness centre. Alternatively take to the spa for massages, body wraps, and hair and nail treatments.
Almond Casuarina Beach has 280 rooms - a brand new ocean view block with Superior Deluxe and One Bedroom Ocean View Suites all with elevator service. The remaining rooms overlook the tropical gardens which have been awarded the first Green Globe certification in Barbados. All rooms have a balcony, French balcony or terrace and air conditioning.
Almond Resorts are great for kids and as part of the all inclusive package the children's programme provides educational fun for children of all ages, keeping them entertained with playgrounds, pools and fully equipped activity centres. The qualified staff ensure that the children are supervised and well looked after. The nursery provides indoor and outdoor recreation for children up to two years old. The Kids' Club offers a great programme for children ranging from 3 to 12 including beach and pool activities, local dance lessons, culture, music, computers and video games. Teenagers can enjoy disco nights, movies and watersports while parents can rest assured that the children are being looked after and take time out to enjoy a late dinner or just the freedom that Casuarina has to offer.
