Blue Waters is situated in a secluded, unspoilt bay at Speyside, at the north of Tobago, well away from the main tourist areas. The hotel is a perfect base for divers and nature lovers, as it is set amongst 46 acres of tropical grounds with a wide variety of exotic birds. Nature trails run adjacent to the property and a guide can be hired if required. There is an approved PADI dive operation based at the hotel.
Batteaux Bay has a superb beach and the lounge chairs are the perfect spot to admire the excellent views. Other activities include a floodlit tennis court, aromatherapy massages (at a charge) and kayaking. Further afield, deep sea fishing, glass bottomed boat and island excursions for snorkeling and bird watching can be arranged at a local charge.
Accommodation is in 38 rooms, set in low rise buildings, set just behind the beach most with ocean views. The waterfront rest aurant, the Fish-Pot, specialises in seafood, together with local Caribbean dishes and international cuisine. The Shipwreck Bar offers a variety of exotic cocktails for the more adventurous! In addition there is a small shop, and air conditioned recreation room with cable TV, videos, library and board games. If you are seeking a relaxing, casual holiday off the beaten track and are interested in scuba diving or wildlife, this has got to be the perfect destination!
