Wonderfully situated, Galley Bay has a private three-quarter mile stretch of white sand beach, forty acres of lush tropical gardens, a saltwater lagoon and a bird sanctuary. This all-inclusive resort offers a unique, eclectic mixture of old West Indian charm and Tahitian architecture inspired by Gauguin. It is its tranquillity and unrivalled comfort amongst stunning natural surroundings that make this resort so very, very special.

Numerous activities are available to guests including sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, a championship tennis court, croquet and walking trails. Scuba diving, golf or horse riding excursions can also be arranged at extra cost. As well as the stunning beach, the hotel has a superb fresh water swimming pool with a unique waterfall feature.

With just 70 rooms, Galley Bay offers an excellent standard of accommodation and service. About 80 yards from the beach, near the bird sanctuary lagoon, are the unique Gauguin cottages.

These comprise two palm-thatched rooms, one for sleeping and one serving as a bath/dressing room, connected by a sheltered breezeway (covered patio).

Alternatively, the modern Beach Front rooms provide more conventional accommodation with the wonderful facility to literally step from your room on to the beach.
