Ladera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and St. Lucia's most authentic and original luxury open-air hotel is one of the very few hotels in the world where the bedrooms are missing a wall! This is of course quite deliberate, to maximise the sensational views of the Piton Mountains, spectacular sunsets, the village of Soufriere below and the sea beyond.

This quiet, romantic hotel's stylish eco-designed accommodation of just 26 suites and 6 villas are hidden amongst lush tropical gardens, 1,100 feet above sea level. The Dasheene, Ladera's acclaimed open air restaurant, is renowned for it's outstanding cuisine and inspired menus specialising in local Creole dishes using mainly local ingredients. Despite the open walls, the rooms are quiet and private, as they are not overlooked. The rooms are constructed of tropical hardwood, stone and tile. Being on a hillside they are naturally cooled by the Trade winds.

Ladera's Ti Kai Pose Spa offers a full range of treatments for guests to unwind and the garden tents dotted around the spa gardens are perfect for outside massage treatments.

Whilst Ladera may not suit some of our clients seeking a more traditional 5 star hotel, for those romantics who love the outdoor life, Ladera is very special. We have stayed here and loved it! It is also possible to stay at Ladera for a few days and combine it with another hotel, on St Lucia, or another island, (as indeed we would be pleased to arrange at any combination of our hotels).
