An intimate, stylish hotel that is building up a loyal following since it opened in 2000. Built on the site of a restored 17th century fort at Shermans, a small fishing village on the north west coast, Little Good Harbour is ideal for those who want to experience the quieter, less sophisticated side of Barbados, with the ability to self cater. The original fort has been carefully and tastefully restored and is now home to two of the hotel's luxury suites andThe Fish Pot restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner. Speightstown is just two miles away for shopping and the hotel is a one hour drive from the airport.

Little Good Harbour comprises 21 Luxury Villa Suites: six 3-bedroom Vineyard Suites, one 3-bedroom Fort Suite, one 2-bedroom Fort Suite, three 2-bedroom suites and ten 1-bedroom Villa Suites. Divided by a minor road, the restaurant and two Fort Suites are on the beach side of the road, whilst the remainder of the suites, together with reception and the swimming pool are located in gardens on the other side.

Head south and enjoy the wonderful west coast beaches, bars and restaurants and at Mullins Beach (4km) try your hand at waterskiing, jetbiking and Hobiecat sailing. The hotel can also arrange catamarran day trips which include lunch, drinks and transfers. Fishing trips, yacht charters, day tours, golf and island excursions can also be arranged locally.

While Bridgetown is the capital for shopping, the island also has a certain cultural appeal with museums and plantation houses, wildlife reserves and Harrison's Cave.

Weddings can be arranged at the property or in a church. Please call us for further information and details of our packages.

A day in the life of a guest at Little Good Harbour ...

With your own fully equipped kitchen why not start the day with a home cooked breakfast on your terrace? Alternatively a sumptuous breakfast awaits at the restaurant - the choice is yours.

Hire a jeep and explore the rugged east coast and Bridgetown, the capital in the south west corner of the island.

Stop off for lunch in Holetown, the most exclusive area on the west coast with great restaurants and shopping.

Work off lunch with an afternoon's activity. Watersports and golf can be arranged by the hotel or try some gentle snorkelling in the clear waters of  Little Good Harbour (equipment available from the hotel).

5pm Friday - the local fishermen bring their catch of the day to the next village so time to enajoy a delicious fish fry - the local event of the week!

Time for dinner and it has to be the Fish Pot Restaurant - one of the best! Alternatively 'go native' and drive to the fish market just 5 minutes up the road where you can try 'fish of the day' with rice and peas for just a few dollars. If you'd rather relax - a local cook can be booked to create a delicious meal en-suite.
