Established over 30 years ago as one of the Caribbean's first exclusive resorts, this 35-acre resort just off St. Vincent is the perfect island getaway.
A short swim from the beach is the Coconut Bar (don't forget you have to swim back again) where perfect cocktails are served in fresh coconut shells. Of course, there is also a bar on the island for those who prefer their Martinis dry!
The menu in the restaurant changes daily and always has a wide range of dishes prepared from fresh ingredients. Meals can be taken in the restaurant, in one of the romantic thatched gazebos near the beach. With the main island of St. Vincent only a 200-metre boat ride away, there is a good selection of restaurants on the mainland all within easy access.
For stays of 7 nights or more, you are invited to spend a few days aboard one of the island's yachts sailing to Mustique, the Tobago Cays and Bequia. The itinerary will vary, but you are guaranteed to see more unspoilt Caribbean than most people will see in a lifetime!
There are no direct flights to St. Vincent, so you will have to fly into either Barbados or St. Lucia, making Young Island a perfect second stop on a twin centre holiday.
